At the end of a short and quaint country road, where the pavement ends and a forest springs up abruptly, is a log cabin home perched atop a sloping landscape of state-protected wildland reserve of over 15 acres. From a distance, it is an eclectic and serene post- card-esc vision of the per- fect homestead. Upon closer inspection, the beauty of northern Mary- land comes into full view.
Surrounded by towering poplar, cherry, and white oak trees, the 3.13 acre private hillside property is a sight to behold. In the late spring, wild raspberries are strewn all throughout, able to be eaten right off the vine if one is able to beat the various birds that deco- rate the forest. Vibrant ferns carpet the forest floor in the spring and summer, cut only by a gorgeous pathway which is immaculately maintained.

Located at the top of a northern facing hill on three acres of private forest is our Log Cabin home, where the owners of EZ Elopements currently reside while maintaining and personally overseeing most of the events at the location. Surrounding our private property is farmlands and 12 additional acres of forest for that perfect ambiance of seclusion. While not currently for rent, the log home does provide the only bathroom on the estate, and can be used upon request.
A large enough space of forest has been cleared to provide parking for up to 5 vehicles not including the bride/groom’s. There are special circumstances where additional parking may be provided, but must be discussed beforehand. The guest parking area is purposefully located on the other side of the residence as the Bridal Suite and Groom’s Den, to provide the couple with privacy before their big moment.

Your Experience
Introducing our new bridal suite and grooms den, which was recently built in 2022 at the end of the private driveway to the log cabin! Due to space requirements, we have constructed two brand new facilities to fully immerse the bride and groom on their special day by providing uniquely crafted accommodations during their getting ready moments. Perfect for many photo opportunities, these isolated buildings capture the essence of the high-end atmosphere, and provide many amenities which can sometimes be forgotten!
Getting ready experience
The Bridal Suite / She-Shed is large enough to accommodate a hair stylist, makeup artist, one or two bridesmaids, and of course, the photographer to capture all of those special moments. The interior of the suite is covered in lavish off-white shiplap, with a unique handmade floral backdrop accent wall perfect for those amazing portrait shots.
Feeling a bit jittery on your big day? Never fear, for there is a small collection of especially curated wines adorning one of the walls. While EZ Elopements does not sell alcohol, it has been gifted from time to time for those nervous couples to enjoy responsibly.
A gorgeous floral chandelier hangs over the center of the suite, and a backlit makeup mirror situated perfectly for the stylist and makeup artists to flaunt over you. In addition to the ample lighting, three offset skylights amplify the suite with gorgeous natural light.
Stocked with all the last minute amenities, including bobby pins, safety pins, ribbons, and a steam garment press for those last minute wrinkles, the suite is all inclusive for everything you will need on your big day!

Bridal Suite
The Groom’s Den / Man Cave is the picturesque manly retreat, equipped with a comfortable leather couch sitting across from a handmade oak bar. Covered from wall to wall with brown shiplap and a unique barn-wood accent wall behind the bar, it is the perfect place for an anxious groom to await their bride to be. While not nearly as large as the Bridal Suite, the groom's den has ample space to accommodate the groom, one or two guests, and the officiant, who will be going over the paperwork and adjusting their script according to your wishes. Behind the bar is a myriad of curated whiskeys, tequilas, rums, and scotches, backlit with a led light to really impress the high-end bar atmosphere. Almost all of the stock from the bar has been donated via tips from previous clients to share with future couples. Of course, both the Bridal Suite and Groom’s Den are equipped with heat/air conditioning to offer reprieve and comfort from any weather situation.
Groom's Den
Upon reaching the parking area, guests are drawn to a winding forest path which descends down the gradual sloping forest hillside.
At the overlook, a beautiful wooden platform is placed at the end of a pathway aisle.
A recently built gazebo is available on a case-by-case basis
Enjoy a short 5-minute walk through the woods to reach one of our prevalent ceremony locations overlooking the hillside and serene farmlands beyond.
